Before you queue
You want Speedwagon in Defense, an evolved Gojo, a frontliner such as Broly, and a second damage unit such as Sukuna or Ryu. Unevolved Gojo does not provide the map freeze this fight is built around.
How the fight is structured
Nightmare runs about three minutes and three health bars. For roughly the first two minutes, mobs keep coming. Around 2:30 to 2:40, Yuta enters the third phase and regular spawns stop. That is the damage window.
- Place Speedwagon and confirm the blue Defense stance. Red means no passive Yen.
- Place Broly ahead of the base so early runners do not leak while Yen builds.
- Place Gojo, about 1,200 Yen, and cast the time stop when the lane is crowded. The follow-up is the board nuke.
- At the final phase, put the remaining damage on Yuta. Sukuna's slash or Ryu's scaling both fit this window.
A clear was recorded around 80 gems, 40 gold, and event fingers. The event shop sells Yuta copies and, in the reroll notes, a 100-reroll milestone that did not look repeatable.
After you own the unit
Base Yuta is modest. Yuta (Pure Love) is the S-tier form. The passive copies damage stats. The Cursed Ring is the gear that cuts skill cooldown, which matters because the kit cycles skills rather than relying on one hit. In-match cost was about 1,900 Yen, so Max Yen has to be high enough to place him beside Speedwagon.
Fingers from this event are also the piece cited for Sukuna's evolution, together with 1 Mysterious Shard and about 25,000 gold. Farming Yuta is therefore the bridge from a Gojo clear to a Sukuna evolution, not only a unit unlock.
If Gojo's freeze is down and the lane leaks before 2:30, the fix is an earlier Speedwagon and a tank, not another damage unit that you cannot afford.
