What you are doing in a match
Anime Mysterious is line defense. Units walk the lane in Hunt mode and stop in Defense mode. Waves are dense, often a spawn every one or two seconds. Yen paid during the match is not the same pile as the Gold you spend on evolutions in the lobby.
First lobby choices
- Choose Naruto if the starter prompt offers Naruto, Goku, and Luffy. His tested movement is about 19 to 20, against about 10 on many other units, so he reaches the first leaks.
- Place Speedwagon as soon as you own him and set Defense, the blue stance. The observed income is about 270 Yen per cycle. Red Hunt stance does not generate that income.
- Raise Max Yen toward 2,000 to 3,000 before you buy base generation. Broly places around 1,140 Yen, Gojo around 1,200, and Yuta around 1,900. A later note pushes the comfortable cap toward 3,000 to 5,000.
- Play Story until the account is level 5, then redeem codes at the Naruto or Naruta NPC. The group join is also required on several walkthroughs. See the codes page for the strings.
Where to fight
Story worlds named in guides are Namek, Kirigakure, and Curse Mall, also called the JJK side. If a later Curse Mall act wipes you, stop the long attempts and farm evolution materials instead.
Namek Act 3 on Nightmare is the documented early loop: about 33 seconds on 2x speed with starter Naruto, for 14 gems and 40 gold. Namek Act 5 Nightmare paid only about 4 gems in the same test set, so a higher act number is not automatically better.
Mysterious stages are the material farms. Raids such as Alabasta and the Dragon Ball encounter, plus the Yuta event, come after a Mythic is evolved.
What to summon
Single pulls are 50 gems and ten-pulls are 500. The first Mythic target is Broly, because the evolution was about 7,000 gold from Story drops and the skill gives invulnerability frames. Gojo is second. Sukuna waits on Yuta fingers. Early epics that help are Sasuke and Bart. Tanjiro is the cheap third body in a Naruto, Sasuke, Tanjiro opening trio.
Do not convert 2,500 gems into 12,000 gold on day one. That trade is for a later evolution you are already ready to finish.
Lobby stops after each session
Claim the Level Reward NPC. The reported cadence is 10 trait rerolls every 5 levels. Both the Gem Shop and the Gold Shop restock hourly. The AFK chamber is the Luc NPC when you leave the keyboard. Details are on the AFK and reroll guides.
A failed wave usually means one of these
Speedwagon was left in Hunt, so the Yen never arrived. The damage unit was left in Defense, so it never walked. Materials were split across two half-built Mythics. The stage gem count looked higher, but the clear took several times longer than Namek Act 3.
